India has approx. 400 commercial aircraft and makes an order of 1080 new aircraft and these are delivered in this year. Approx. 50 AMEs are required to maintain an aircraft.
As we know that Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is three year license program regulated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India. The future of AME is good in Indian as well as Foreign airlines or in Government or Private Airlines. The salary of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in India is approx. 6 to 10 lakhs per annum.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET) is a national level test to get admission in AME institutes. The value of student is increase by the AME CET 2018 because only capable candidate can join the AME institute. AME CET 2018 is only a way to get admission in DGCA approved AME institutes.
